During your first few moments in Animal Well, you’re but a defenseless tiny brown blob. You can only hop around, hoping to reach every platform and hit every yellow switch. However, Animal Well tools will quickly up your game.
As you progress through all the altars and collect all the eggs, however, you begin to amass quite the collection of toys— tools that help you navigate previously inaccessible areas. After all, a blob can only jump and stretch so far. There are a ton of tools in this game, most of which are inaccessible until after you roll credits. In this guide, I’ll show you how to get every tool in Animal Well.

How to get the B Wand in Animal Well
The B. Wand is a tool that lets you spawn bubbles in Animal Well.

You can later upgrade the Bubbles Wand to a BB Wand, an Animal Well tool that lets you spawn more bubbles. Here’s how you can do it:

How to get the Disc in Animal Well
The Disc is a tool you can either throw or ride to reach new places in Animal Well.

How to get the Yoyo in Animal Well
You can use the Yoyo as a tool to break spikes and reach faraway switches in Animal Well.

With the Slink tool, you can keep switches pressed even when you’re away in Animal Well, and reach areas below wooden platforms.

How to get the Remote in Animal Well
With the Remote tool in Animal Well, you can manipulate switches from far away. Here’s how you can get it:

How to get the B Ball in Animal Well
The B Ball is a tool that bounces and breaks rectangle-shaped blocks in Animal Well. Here’s how you can get it:

How to get the Lantern in Animal Well
The Lantern tool in Animal Well lights up the way so you’re never in the dark. Ghosts and shades can’t hurt you or block the way anymore.

How to get the Wheel in Animal Well
To get the Wheel tool in Animal Well, you must free every caged Cat using your Animal Flute. In this guide, I’ll include directions on how to find the hints to guess the combinations, but you can skip that entirely and just go straight to play the correct tune.
Free the Square Cat

To unlock the UV Lantern tool, you must find all matches and light all candles in Animal Well. Here’s every match and candle location:
