What is the dangerous winter cystitis for women’s health

Inflammation of the bladder (cystitis) disease is quite common. Women often suffer from cystitis due to the characteristics of their anatomy, and in winter, when a woman often overcookes and suffers from acute respiratory infections, the issue of cystitis morbidity becomes even more relevant. Many women do not attach importance to the seriousness of the disease, they engage in self-treatment, which can lead to serious problems, both in general and with reproductive functions.

In most people, the urine reaction is slightly acid, therefore, when cystitis, when the mucous membrane of the bladder is inflamed, there are frequent urges to urinate. They are accompanied by cuts and burning pain. Violation of the functions of the bladder in the form of frequent urges to urinate (up to several times per hour) and pain in the abdomen are the main symptoms of cystitis. Fewer rises body temperature, there is a general malaise and weakness.

Inflammatory process in the bladder may be infectious and non-infectious. Acute cystitis often occurs when it enters the urethra and the bladder itself: the infection can spread with sexual infections, from inadequate intimate hygiene.

Non-infectious cystitis, especially in winter, often occurs during overcooling – not only the general, but the lower part of the body (the area of the pelvis and genitals). Overcooling and a general decrease in immunity contribute to the activation of already existing bacteria in the body.

Also, provoking cystitis can:

disturbance of blood circulation in the mucous membrane of the bladder (in turn caused by a sedentary lifestyle);
chronic constipation;
tight or synthetic linen;
metabolic disorders;
As already mentioned, it is women who are more likely to suffer from cystitis because their urinary channel is wider and shorter than that of men. Therefore, the infection is easier to penetrate the bladder. Only the doctor can find the true cause of the disease and choose the right tactic of treatment, based not only on women’s complaints, but also on the results of laboratory and instrumental diagnostics (ultrasound, blood and urine tests, etc.).

It is impossible to do it at home, and not a cured inflammatory process and improper treatment will lead to the development of chronic cystitis and other diseases. Chronic cystitis is a problem for a woman for life.

Incorrect cystitis treatment leads to diseases of the uterus, ovaries, intestines, provoking inflammatory processes in the organs and contributing to the development of infertility. Also, chronic cystitis and its complications lead to violations in the intimate area, women experience pain and discomfort during and after sex.

If cystitis is not treated or treated incorrectly, the infection from the bladder will spread to the kidneys, provoking pyelonephritis. In addition to problems with the kidneys, a dangerous interstitial cystitis, which illuminates the entire mucous membrane and muscle wall of the bladder. This type of cystitis, especially its launched form, is not treated conservatively and requires surgical surgery. Therefore, with the first symptoms of cystitis, it is important for a woman to seek help from a urologist.
